Patrik Griego

Mr. Griego joined the firm as an associate in 2006 and became a partner in 2008. Mr. Griego is a trial lawyer experienced in complex civil litigation and criminal defense. In 1997, he began his legal career in Los Angeles, representing major corporations in product liability, toxic tort, contract, and class action lawsuits. Mr. Griego relocated to Humboldt County in 2001, working as a Trial Deputy in the Humboldt County Public Defenders Office. Mr. Griego has successfully tried numerous jury cases to verdict. Mr. Griego also has represented numerous patients in elder abuse cases and successfully preserved their right to jury trials in a published case that he argued before the California Court of Appeal, Fitzhugh v. Granada Healthcare and Rehabilitation Centers, LLC (2007) 150 Cal.App.4th 469.

Mr. Griego attended Arizona State University (B.S. 1992) and the University of Arizona College of Law, earning his law degree with top honors (J.D., 1997, summa cum laude). While in law school, Mr. Griego was elected Articles Editor for the Law Review and received an award for publishing the Best Student Note. He is a member of the California State Bar and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Central Districts of California.
